Divas Discussion: Prepayment solutions for heat networks

In light of the upcoming regulations to the heat industry, we’ve been thinking about the impact on PAYG/prepayment customers and what the risks and benefits of PAYG solutions are when compared with credit billing. Join us on 7nd June from 2.30-4.00am on Zoom (see LinkedIn group for details) to get involved in the discussion and hear from our amazing panel members on their experiences and perspectives!

We’ll be hearing from:

• Zoe from Citizens Advice on the Customer perspective;

• Marina from L&Q in terms of experience across diverse residential communities;

• Georgina from Guru covering all things data collection & analytics; and

• Emily from Insite Energy looking at customer data & how credit billing compares.

• The session will be chaired by Heat Trust’s Joanna.

The session is scheduled for 90 mins, with our panel members sharing their experiences in the first hour or so, followed by a discussion open to all. If you can join us for the whole session that’s brilliant, but we’ve shared the agenda below for those that are a bit tight on time:

• 0 – 5 mins: Introduction to the session with some opening polls to get a feel for everyone’s current position on PAYG

• 5 – 10 mins: Overview of Ofgem stats and potential implications of regulation

• 10 – 50 mins: 8 mins from each panel member to outline experiences with PAYG, key risks & benefits, and top questions to explore

• 50 – 85 mins: Facilitated discussion [open to all]

• 85 – 90 mins: Closing out poll – feedback on the session & potential next steps
