  • Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

    They are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. This role is fundamental to the continued success of Kensa Contracting. As an expert in your field, you will work across all areas of the business to ensure that HS&E is embedded in everything they do and enthusiastically embraced by all employees. It is important to Kensa and will be important to you that they deliver high quality installations at every site while keeping our employees, subcontractors and the public safe.

    You will develop, manage, supervise, and coordinate work systems and practices to ensure that the highest standards of Health & Safety are being followed by all staff and subcontractors at all times. You will write and update policies and procedures as required to support a high standard of HS&E performance. By reviewing what they already have in place, you will be able to assess their current HS&E performance and set clear goals and objectives for further improvement.

  • Maintenance Engineer - Commercial Gas (Greater London)

    Hemiko is a fast-growing innovative business which is looking to invest in and deliver over £1bn of heat network projects in the coming years.  They fund, design, build, operates and maintain low carbon district energy networks and building energy systems.  This work is for communities, towns, and cities.  They work with local authorities, developers, house builders, and property owners.

    Hemiko are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Commercial Gas) reporting to the Lead Commercial Engineer.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operation and maintenance services across their fleet of heat networks. They are looking for someone who has a valid commercial gas certificate, with experience servicing and repairing commercial boiler equipment. Experience maintaining and operating commercial non-gas plant, e.g., pumps, valves, strainers, would be beneficial. The role will be varied, undertaking PPMs, reactive call outs, planned repairs and project work, to further improve reliability and network efficiency across the fleet of networks they operate.

    Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

    Hemiko is seeking a highly flexible, self-starting, Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the design of Electrical Building Services.  The location of the post will be Sheffield. The role is to support the design and growth of heat network infrastructure in the UK, so you may also be expected to visit prospective and active construction sites throughout the UK from time to time, as necessary.

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive increased pipeline and revenue stream from both existing and new customers. You will work closely with the site delivery and client support teams for aftersales care. You will also be responsible for driving specifications with design consultants and tier 1 contractors. They are looking for a highly organised and confident communicator. It’s a bonus if you have pre-existing knowledge of the heat sector and the building services space.

    The purpose of this role is to ensure that target customers join their heat networks. You will do this by engaging with their customer base to cultivate excellent relationships, develop a strong offer for each customer (supported by our technical and commercial teams) and work with each customer to ultimately get a decision to join the heat network.

    Hemiko are recruiting for a Customer Revenue Specialist to lead and manage projects.

    In this role you will work closely with the Contract Management and Customer Services Teams to support the business manage its customer income recovery. With over 10,000 customers on their District Heat Networks, you will work to ensure their processes are delivered to reduce their customer debt levels.

    Salary: £22,000 to £24,000

  • Project Manager/ Site Manager (London - with travel to sites as required)

They work with local authorities, developers, house builders and property owners to reduce costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions through innovative design and proactive intelligence led system operations and optimisation.

    Hemiko are seeking two Project Managers/ Site Manager on a fixed term basis to deliver both major and small District Heating projects across the London region. Predominantly working across Greenwich.

    In the project planning / feasibility phase the role will include reviewing site survey data to inform the design team’s work and to assess/reduce the risks encountered during the construction phase with a look to operability and maintainability of the final installation. It will also include collaboration with commercial and pre-construction teams to review budget and programme. 

    Salary: Base up to £75,000
