  • Maintenance Engineer - Commercial Gas (Greater London)

    Hemiko is a fast-growing innovative business which is looking to invest in and deliver over £1bn of heat network projects in the coming years.  They fund, design, build, operates and maintain low carbon district energy networks and building energy systems.  This work is for communities, towns, and cities.  They work with local authorities, developers, house builders, and property owners.

    Hemiko are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Commercial Gas) reporting to the Lead Commercial Engineer.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operation and maintenance services across their fleet of heat networks. They are looking for someone who has a valid commercial gas certificate, with experience servicing and repairing commercial boiler equipment. Experience maintaining and operating commercial non-gas plant, e.g., pumps, valves, strainers, would be beneficial. The role will be varied, undertaking PPMs, reactive call outs, planned repairs and project work, to further improve reliability and network efficiency across the fleet of networks they operate.

    Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

  • Graduate Electrical Design Engineer (Sheffield, South Yorkshire)

    Hemiko are seeking a highly flexible, self-starting, Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the design of Electrical Building Services.  The location of the post will be Sheffield. The role is to support the design and growth of heat network infrastructure in the UK, so you may also be expected to visit prospective and active construction sites throughout the UK from time to time, as necessary. 

    Salary: £28,000 – £34,000

    Hemiko are recruiting for a Customer Revenue Specialist to lead and manage projects.

    In this role you will work closely with the Contract Management and Customer Services Teams to support the business manage its customer income recovery. With over 10,000 customers on their District Heat Networks, you will work to ensure their processes are delivered to reduce their customer debt levels.

    Hemiko are recruiting for a Project Development Manager reporting to the Head of Project Development.

    The successful candidate will contribute to a range of pre-contract project development activities required to move a potential project lead identified by the business development team through to a technically and commercially viable project and eventually to contract execution. They are looking for someone who is organised, self-motivated, and willing to learn. Hemiko is still relatively small but with very fast growth, so they are looking for flexibility and enthusiasm to help them grow.

    Salary: £40,000+

    They have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Officer to join the Communal Heating and Hot Water team in Euston Road, London on a full time, permanent basis. They currently operate a hybrid working model with a requirement to work 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days working from home.  

    The team is responsible for looking after c.130 communal heat networks and a renewables portfolio nationwide covering over 7,000 properties. They are a dedicated team all working hard to deliver an excellent service for our customers.
