After some introductions, we’ll be hearing from Jessica Naylor from Amberside, who’ll be updating us on the BEIS Heat Investment Vehicle (BHIVE). She explains:

BHIVE allows public sector heat network owners/developers in England and Wales to procure funding and funding-related services for their heat network projects from a range of potential funders. BHIVE is an efficient PCR compliant route to procure Equity funding (and related services) and Asset finance. BHIVE does not need to be used alongside HNIP, HNDU or GHNF funding however it can be. Support for public sector users is available from Amberside Advisors (my employer), who are managing BHIVE as part of Amberside’s role within the Triple Point Heat Networks Consortium. It is open to Investors (To provide Funding) and Local Authorities/ NHS Trusts/ Universities (To source funding for their heat network projects).
