This is the rescheduled October meeting. For this meeting Bobo Ng has kindly offered to deliver a presentation on heat pumps and include those from the Public Sector group of DH Divas. The presentation will cover the following:

• How heat pump works (including key components and basic thermal dynamic cycle)

• Heat pump energy balance and performance metrics (such COP, SCoP and SPF explanation)

• Different geothermal heat source approaches

• Case studies for two large water/ ground source heat pump energy network project in the North East region (in early construction stage)
